LIM SUAT YEN, ACC

ICF-Credentialed Coach

For nearly three decades, Lim Suat Yen has worked in the creative and media industry — directing, producing and leading teams across television, film and content production.

Her career has taken her from ambitious beginnings to producing award-winning programmes, directing feature films and working with some of the region’s most talented creative professionals.

Today, Yen brings that wealth of experience into her coaching practice.

She works primarily with young entrepreneurs, emerging leaders and parents who are navigating the pressures of growth, relationships, expectations and change.

Because success is not only about what we achieve.

It is also about self discovery of who we truly are.

Yen believes that many of the challenges we face on the outside begin with something happening on the inside.

Fear of failure. Self-doubt. The pressure to succeed. Difficulty communicating. The expectations we carry from our families. The feeling of being successful, yet somehow unfulfilled.

Coaching provides a space to slow down, step back and see what may not be visible when we are caught in the middle of life.

Rather than telling clients what to do, Yen creates a safe and non-judgmental space for them to discover their own answers, clarify what truly matters and move forward with greater confidence and awareness.

Starting a business can be exciting — and lonely.

Yen works with young entrepreneurs who are building their businesses
while also navigating decision-making, relationships,
expectations and the pressure to prove themselves.

Coaching can help them:

  • Gain clarity when there are too many possibilities
  • Build confidence in their decisions
  • Recognise limiting beliefs and patterns
  • Navigate uncertainty and setbacks
  • Develop greater self-awareness as a leader
  • Create a healthier relationship between ambition and personal life

Parenting can be one of the most rewarding and challenging journeys in life.

Yen works with parents who want to understand themselves better,
communicate more effectively with their children and create deeper,
more meaningful relationships at home.

Coaching can provide a space to explore:

  • Parenting challenges and recurring conflicts
  • Communication between parent and child
  • Expectations and fears around children
  • Emotional reactions and triggers
  • Balancing work, family and personal identity
